What was it like was it harder than last time? Or was it easer? Did some people talk alout? I wasent there I was sick. I hope you had fun. Did you have to speak in french? Did madem like it?
ON Semtemper 29 we had a no talking contest boys vs girls maeve and waleed kept track of the points and we only could say 3 words to a adult only if the adult asked us a question i wondered who’s going to win the boys or girls and it was also hard to not talk cause when you friends talk to you you can’t answer them so i was trying not to talk but i acctindely said 10 words to my friend but after i was trying not to talk because i would put all the girls down and all the girls would be mad at me i liked the contest and it was also hard actully really hard anyways at the end of the contest it was over yet but all the kids start talking and i thought it was done so i start talking so i went to tell the teacher is it over yet and she said no but still everybody was still talking.
On September 29th we had a no talking contest boys vs girl. we could only say 3 words to an adult.If we said more then 3 words the girls would have to put a tallys if the girls had allot of tallys it means they win.If we had more tallys then them they would win.Waleed and maeve were keeping track of the contest.All the boys were trying not to talk and the girls were trying not to talk but it was really hard because if a teacher asked u a question it would be hard to answer it because we could only say 3 words if we said more the girls would have to put a tally.Then later in the afternoon the girls and the boys had allot of tallys.Then when school was almost done everybody was starting to talk but the contest was still not done.Then when it was home time we all had fun.
1/09/09. We read a story about no talking it was girls against boys. The story was intresting and pretty coolbut i wish that some team one it was a tie. my class wanted to try it so we did it was boys against girls. so the day went on with no talking it was hard for some people. but not for me only at recess it was hard for me because i wanted to talk to my friends and i had a few slip outs well mostly everyone made a few slip outs. but now it was almost time for home. so the day went on and on with no talking. so that day was no talking and it was an awesome day!!!!
hi we did an experement from the book no talking and it was boys vs girls and for the boys it was hard because boys talk alot but for the girls it was easy because girls don’t like talking anyway I enjoyed the experement and it was really fun so bye
Hi my name is Irahim and my class just finshed a book called no talking.It was fun at the beginning because every body wasn’t taking but it was a little boring at the end because everybody was talking. Thats how it went.
At Tuesday September 29th we did a contest to and it was girls against boy.It was really hard!But itwas also fun.

Hi. My class finshed a book called No Talking. The first time that we tryed no talking I was score keper and mathew kept talking. It was gr5 v.s gr4.
My class did an exeriment whith no talking the first time I did really bad but the second time I was better much better even if it was really hard
Me and my class did an experiment were it was grade 4
against grade 5. it was hard but at the end grade 5 students won.
another day we did it again insept it was boys v.s girls like the
real book no- talking but at the end of the day we didn’t find out

Hi! We just finished reading a book called No Talking. In the book a boy named Dave read a book on Gandhi. Gandhi was a great man. He believed that not talking for one day would bring order to your mind. So then Dave tried out the experiment because he was curious to see what happens. So then all the other grade 5’s got involved in it and it ended up as a no talking contest between Grade 5 boys and Grade 5 girls. Then the no talking contest made the teachers really mad. They couldn’t handle non talking Grade 5’s because these kids were known as the unshushables since they were in Grade 1. The principal hadto bring a red bullhorn to quiet them down them. They had a special lunch time. Now we did a 2 day contest of no talking. The first contest was of Grade 4’s vs. Grade 5’s and the second contest was of girls vs. boys. It was fun doing this experiment.
Our class did an experiment about No Talking. We did the experiment because we read a book called No Talking and we tried it for ourselves for the whole school day the only way we were allowed to talk is that we were allowed to reply a adult with three words.

We just finished an interesting book called “No Talking”.
In the book a boy named Dave read about “Gandhi”.
Gandhi was a famous man in India. He promoted peace and Non-violence.
There after our teacher thought of doing an experiment on “No Talking” for one day.
It was a no talking competition between boys and girls.
In the competition we were only allowed to say three word answers to an adult. It was really hard because were not used to not talking and most of the games we played has lots of talking.
In the end we learned about peace and quiet because it was a No-talking day.

In class we read a book called no talking. I think that it was a very good book. Then we had to not talk on 2 different days.
We read a book called “No Talking” about kids who have a contest on no talking. We tried it. It was fun and interesting. But some people talked. In the end, it was fun.
We just finished reading the book “No Talking” by Andrew Clements. In the book there was a boys vs. girls no talking contest. Our teacher thought it would be fun to do the same. Our class did a grade 4 vs. 5 contest. It was hard but fun!
My class did a day without talking. It was very hard. You could only say 3 words to adults only! If you talk more then 3 words to adults or you talk to your friends each word costs 1 point. When the day was over everybody was so happy to talk. That was my day of no talking. You should try it some time. bye!
