Cool Kids: The Interviews
Our first presentation this year is based on the book, Radio Fifth Grade by Gordon Korman.
Welcome to Cool Kids, the students’ radio program, by and for students. This episode, students take the role of interviewers and characters from the story. Your host is Osama. Prayanshu plays Brad Jaworski, the Venice Menace. Benjy is played by Sam, the role of Ellen-Louise by Victoria. The part of Mark falls to Sam and Winston Churchill, the parrot, is played by Dima. This is part 1 of this presentation and is in several segments. Stay tuned for more to come. Our music and drum rolls are royalty free.

Zlata’s Diary
Students have read excerpts from Zlata’s Diary as we prepared for Remembrance Day. Some of them wrote letters to Zlata about her life in Sarajevo and in America afterwards. They’ve recorded their letters.

The Paper Clip
For Remembrance Day, our class did a multimedia presentation about how the paper clip became a symbol for resistance against Hitler in Norway. A class in Whitwell, Tennessee did a research project about it and decided to collect 6 million paper clips, one for each of the Jews killed in WWII. Hear all about the project.
